HOW TO USE YOUR GUIDE - SUCCESSFULLY
Discounts will not automatically be taken off. You must mention that you are a HAS Advantage cardholder when presenting your card for payment. In addition, some venues require that you also present a coupon included in the back of this guide. Be sure to read the guidelines listed under each venue carefully.

Due to the dynamic nature of business, some partner employees may be unaware of the HAS Advantage discount. To ensure a smooth transaction we recommend you bring your Advantage Guide with you or print a coupon from our online system.

Who can use the Israel Advantage Guide?

1.	Existing HAS Advantage cardmembers when making purchases with their card.
2.	New applicants who hold Temporary Israel Advantage cards. Please pay attention to expiration dates.

International Transaction Fee:
All charges outside the U.S. are subject to a Visa® foreign transaction fee which is equal to 3.00% of the amount of your transaction in U.S. dollars.

Merchant Branches Please note that each discount is only valid at the specific merchant location mentioned in the Guide. Discounts do not pertain to all merchant branches within Israel.

Denied Discounts: HAS Advantage and its partner merchants cannot be held responsible for not providing discounts, when not informed of HAS Advantage membership. However, if you have informed a merchant of your membership and are still denied a discount please report the issue as follows:

1.	Save your receipt
2.	Request the name of the employee assisting you
3.	Call HAS customer service. a. In the US: 1-866-6-ISRAEL (477235) b. In Israel: 1-800-200-818

Important Travel Tips

1.	Call the bank before you go: Before traveling out of the U.S. call the number on the back of your HAS Advantage card to inform the bank that you will be traveling. While this is not required, doing so may prevent your card from being blocked due to unusual activity outside the US.
2.	Check the pump: Please note that not all Israeli gas stations accept US credit cards.

Kashrut: While all restaurants included bear a Teudat Kashrut (Kosher Certificate) of some level, please do not use this guide as an authority on the Kashrut of any particular establishment. For your convenience we have included phone numbers for each merchant. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Expiration: Discounts in the 2006/07 Guide have been extended through Dec 31, 2008. However, due to revamping of our Discount Network, please verify that the merchants you'd like to visit are still part of the HAS program before your trip. You can do so by calling our Customer Service Center or by viewing the up-to-date book online at HASadvantage.com. Any merchant listed in the HAS Israel Benefits Guide that is not listed in our online Discount Guide is no longer a member of the program.
